Morag Hood (1942–2002) was a Scottish actress, described by many commentators as "a celebrated beauty," who featured in numerous British television programmes and stage productions from the 1960s to the late 1990s.
She was also a presenter of the Scottish Television children's programme, Roundup, from 1962 to 1965.
Background
Morag Hood was born in Cardonald, Glasgow, on 12 December 1942, the daughter of a master of works for Glasgow theatres, whose roots were in Shetland, and the much younger sister of Eila and of Scottish Television's Head of entertainment, Liam Hood.
